BMW Recalls 5, 6 Series models.

7:13 AM 3/27/2012 BMW had called 5, 6 series model (2003 to 2010) owners to bring their car to nearest authorized dealer to fix some problem related to its battery. According to initial report the process will take 30 - 45 minutes to repair the fault. Nearly 290,000 BMW cars in Germany and 1.3 million BMW models from all over the world will have to under go this repair.

According to the BMW Company there are no injuries or accidents due to this battery fault although as a precautio0n method they are taking this action. The actual cause was the BMW car's battery cable covering in the trunk was incorrectly installed and this can be a potential hazard that could result from the car defect would be fire.

The Company had sent letters to the owners and the repair will be free of charge.
